Up and about
Finally up and about and I can't say that I feel all too well today. ( So no school today ) But I'm still going to keep my promise and tell you a bit more thoroughly about yesterday.
Me and my roommate were invited to a party to celebrate the start of a new year by a Japanese friend of ours, hence why we went all the way to Osaka. ( Takes approximately two hours all the way from the apartment, if things go smoothly. ) So we went together with our friend Keynda.
It was super nice at the party, a bit stiff at first as always but when things actually got started, it turned out really nice. We played a few games together, to break the ice and we ended up laughing a lot together with the people we met. And I taught ( or tried to ) a few Japanese guys one of the more complicated clapping games I know. It was really funny to see them try to mimic what I did.
After all this we went for dinner together at an Indonesian restaurant, really nice food though the waiting time was long. And we talked about loads of things, culture and society and language. Interesting to be honest, to be able to learn about things from another point of view. It's one of the greatest charms with living abroad I think.
And so, I'm really grateful to all the people I met yesterday, they really made it into a great experience for me, so if you're reading this,
Thank you, so so much ♡
