Just another day, a fresh start! [ inspo tag bc yes ]

Another day has passed, with all the usual things that come with it. Waking up ealry, going to school and still not really reflecting over that yes, I do live on the other side of the earth, so far away from my parents that it almost takes them 24 hours to fly all the way here. A bit scary when I actually do give it some thought, but I still love it ovet here, and I'm definitely not ready to leave yet. As usually the load of homework isn't small, especially not since I've managed to fall a bit behind after moving and not having any electricity and whatnot, stupid excuses perhaps, but I've really been busy these last few weeks.

But in the midst of this slowly growing negativity that wants to creep over the edges of my mind, I've finally gotten back to eating healthily. And today, I had my first work out in almost three months. It felt amazing to get back to things, to pick up where I left off sort of, and my muscles liked it too. Oh the sweet sweet pain of strain my friends, nothing can replace that. ( Though jumping around on tatami mats and trying to do proper push ups when you slide away is not the most pleasant thing there is, but it's a lot of fun at least and I laughed a lot. ) This and running will become my daily habits from now on, and sugar has been off the menu for two weeks now, which is even better.

As to explain why I sound so eager about this, it's because I've been quite desperate to lose weight for some time now, simply to feel a bit more comfortable with myself, but also because I like to challenge myself and try new things. I'm prepared to go all in for this, of course I am, and dieting isn't something I'm not used to anymore, since I did Weight Watchers along my mother for almost six months last year. So, my key rules are the following;

1 Portion control —  Don't eat more than you actually need to eat.
2 No sweets, treats are for saturdays only, and nuts are always better than chocolate.
3 Daily training, to shape and make my bodily condition better, as well as lighting my mood and make my ability to focus better.
4 Only three proper meals a day, if hungry, have a fruit. ( Stocked up on tangerines and bananas yes! )
5 As little bread as possible, since most of the bread here in Japan is white, and it doesn't really give you any nutrition.
6 No milk, only for tea, and no butter.  ( Suits me well since I'm lactose intolerant holla )

Maybe this looks like a lot to you but to me it isn't, not considering the amount of rules I had put up for myslef only four months ago. This is taking it easy, and I really hope I can succeed. I have approxiamtely eight months on me, to reach my goal and I will fight for it until the end! Yes!

Tossing in a selca for you guys! Have a great day/night!
